Do you want to save money?

In the Czech Republic, ever-increasing electricity bills plague most households. It is the same no matter who the supplier is chosen. They are constantly being forced to pay higher rates. A sensible solution is to limit the use of appliances and purchase light sources that are much more economical than traditional filament bulbs. There are more options, each with its own pros and cons, but if you really want to bet on quality to cut costs dramatically, opt for bulbs that work with LED technology. LED bulbs are among the most expensive bulbs on the market, but that does not mean you should shy away from them. The main attraction of these modern bulbs is, of course, their extremely high energy efficiency, but this is also closely related to their lifespan. Until recently, standard filament light sources, usually in the form of incandescent bulbs, had a lifespan of about 1 to 2,000 hours. This was acceptable since these bulbs sold for 20 kronor each. The biggest problem was that the filament bulbs were very overheated and broke prematurely; LED bulbs cost about 10 times more, but also have a life span 10 to 15 times longer. And that\’s even under enormous loads. Ultimately, it should be obvious to anyone who knows at least some basic math which type of lighting is more economical.

Within the broad family of LED technologies, there is a wide variety of light sources to choose from, not just the classic looking bulbs. For example, you can get energy-saving fluorescent bulbs, spotlights, and even diodes that serve as disco counter decorations or Christmas decorations. Thus, there are more than enough applications for this modern light source. It may be more expensive than its competitors, but it is second to none in terms of economy and durability.
